day 2 of the roadtrip "blackpool"
so the 2nd day of the roadtrip, i visited blackpool! now blackpool is famous for its tower, illuminations, beach, piers and horse and cart rides.
the photo on the left was taken when i was up the tower. im not sure what floor i was on though.
so if you are ever in blackpool i would recommend going up the famous blackpool tower! before you go up in the lift you get to watch a 4D cinema experience and i must say it was amazing, it actually felt like you was going to fall from the sky!
after watching the 4d experience you go up in a lift what is glass windowed to you get to look out. i must admit it made me feel a little sick and week at the knee! once you step out the lift you have the option to walk on the glass floor and look down. the glass is 5cm thick so dont worry, you wont fall through! you can then go up the stairs to get to the higher levels.
so this is me standing on the glass. this photo does not really show how high up i actually was.
at the bottom of the tower is the famous ball room. if you get a chance to see this, look up to the ceiling and admire the beautiful art :)
you defiantly wont go hungry in blackpool! there are so many tea rooms, chippies and resturants, plus look at the size of these amazing cakes!
whilst in blackpool i came across "the annoying orange" merchandise! well done to the creator of the annoying orange for getting so big by starting odd on youtube :)
it was pretty har to take photographs of the illuminations, due to the fact we drove through them on out tour bus and taking photos through glass is pretty hard when things are always reflecting off it. if you watch my video of the day you will get to see some footage of the lights.
