roadtrip! last of the summer wine

so i have been travelling up north of England! if you didnt know im from the south of England from hampshire. i decided i wanted to explore north of england as i have never done that before. the main reason of going north was to visit blackpool.

the first stop was Holmfirth, west yorkshire, where the BBC tv sitcom "last of the summer wine" was filmed from 1973 to 2010. 
we only stayed here for a couple of hours but i managed to visit sids cafe to have a cup of tea and  a tea cake.
i got to sit on the famous steps that the character nora batty used to clean. 
it was a very nice little place to visit and the local peoples accents where lovely :)
