today i wanted to share with you my first couponing experience in tescos.
ive always been one to use a coupon here and there and always search for bargains, but i had never actually tried doing a small food shop by using coupons.
i started thinking "why pay more when you can pay less?"
i follow a couple of bargain hunt and coupon facebook pages and blogs, but the person to really inspire me was a lovely lady named holly smith who not only posts to her facebook and website, but is also a fellow youtuber such as myself.
holly has been seen in the press a few times and tv shows. she is what i like to call an extreme couponer and saver. her tips and tricks are helping me save money and find the greatest bargains out there!
one night this week i decided i was actually going to try and get a cheap food shop. i went on hollys website and found some of the latest coupons as well as the website supersavvyme and printed a few off!
i went to tescos and picked up a milkshake, cheese, goats milk, soup, laughing cow cravings and tescos mixed herbs for £1.40.
i used the coupons:
- 30p off shaken udder
- £1.00 off goats milk
- £1.00 off covent garden soup
- £3.00 off tesco finest cheese
- £1.00 off laughng cow mini cravings
- £2.00 off a tesco transaction
i got such a buzz out of couponing and im defiantly going to take it more serious in the future! maybe i will get really good at it so i can donate food to the people who really need it.
here is the video i recorded whilst shopping. please excuse the child like excitement
