if you dont know who zoella is, you must of been hiding under a rock!. she is a british youtuber with over 6 million subscribers and makes videos from beauty and fashion to vlogs and personal videos. she is the girlfriend of alfie deyes who goes under the youtube name "pointlessblog" and together they have a huge fan base.
i have been wanting to try out zoella beauty since it launched a couple of weeks ago. my sister works in a superdrug in my little old town alton. i kept asking her if she was going to get zoes products in and she says she dosnt think so as its a small store.
we ended up going out of town to basingstoke so i could run into the superdrug over there to have a look at the products. the shelves looked a little empty, so thats got to show how popular little zoe is.
i had didnst have any spare money when we went into superdrug so sadly i couldnt purchase anything that day. i did how ever smell her candle, bubble bath and perfume.
the candle
i love candles so much! i really love candles in tins as well as they are super duper cuuuuuute!
zoes candle smells lovely and the packaging really reflects her style. to me i found the scent unique, a little fruity, not to sweet but very girly. - i will be purchasing this!
the bubble bath
again the design and packaging is lovely! i couldnt really smell it through the bottle but i think it looks lovely. its the time of year now where i love to have girly bubble baths so this may come in handy!
the perfume
now i dont really want to give a bad review on this as i like zoe as a person, but sadly i didnt think much of this product. it does state that its a very light scent, but i think its too light. i sprayed some on my arm and thought it had a nice girly scent. it wasnt very strong at all and after seconds the scent had gone. my sister even said the same. its in a nice bottle and i like the brand but i think £8.00 is a bit to expensive for this type of body mist as the smell dosnt last in my opinion. maybe i need to try out the perfume again as other people disagree with me.
