my sisters budgie Sidney passed away on the saturday and i felt really upset as he lived in my home for a few years, but him being her bird she was more upset. to take her mind of things i thought buying her a new pet might make her feel better....but i was wrong.....
my sister thought lola was cute and kind of wanted her but she told me her bird couldnt be replaced. i felt a little upset as i didnt want her to think i was trying to replace sidney. any ways she wasnt sure if she was aloud the hamster in her flat as she lives with her boyfriend....
so he came round and the both seemed upset. they could see i was upset what made things worse. they decided a strict NO that they cant accept her but they thought it was nice of me to buy them lola.
now, i own 13 guinea pigs, a dog and i look after my sisters rabbit as she hasnt a garden. my parents was not happy at all that we had a hamster in the house because of the other animals i have. i felt so sorry for poor lola and her shiny black eyes kept looking at me. they wanted me to give her away! a few days past and mum started getting attached to lola, as she would follow her round the house in her hamster ball and climb up the cage when she saw her.
lola is pretty friendly, she has only bit me twice and thats only because i rubbed her belly when she was in a deep sleep and the other was when moved a bit of bedding to see her sleeping. i have learnt she hates being woken up!
shes pretty tame, she loves going in her ball and in her wheel. shes pretty energetic when shes awake and loves crawling all over me :)
